The branch of the All-Russian Museum of Fine Arts Hermitage is planned to open in the Moscow region, as the Minister of Culture of Moscow Region Anton Gubankov announced.

"Together with the director of the Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky we are developing the project of organizing the branch of the Hermitage with the appropriate content in Moscow region” – Gubankov said to journalists. According to his words, it is not a problem for the Hermitage to pass a part of its largest fund to its branch and to support it financially. "Hermitage with its financing and its possibilities is the cultural institution that may be the driver of this project" - the Minister concluded.
