The Bell-Ringing Festival Starts in Kargopol

To celebrate the Epiphany, the ancient town of Russian North, Kargopol, invites visitors to their annual bell-ringing festival.

The festival "Chrystal Bells" will take place for the ninth time and celebrate the unique mastery of bell-ringers from world over. The festival will culminate in a bell-ringing concert on the night of January 18th and the solemn Epiphany dips to the sound of bell-ringing.
