The famous characters of the tragedy Emilia Galotti by Lessing appears on the stage of the Moscow Sovremennik theatre for the first time.

However they have appeared not on the Main, but on the Malaya stage, also known as "The Other scene". The play is directed by the young Lithuanian director Gabriella Tuminayte (the daughter of the famous director Rimas Tuminas).

The play involves the actors of the “Sovremennik” theatre: Elena Kozina, Victoria Romanenko, Inna Timofeeva, Vladislav Vetrov, Ilya Lykov, Evgeny Pavlov, Dmitry Smolev, Oleg Feoktistov, Shamil Khamatov. The rehearsals of "Emilia Galotti" gave them all the opportunity to try themselves in the unusual theatrical aesthetics that Gabriella Tuminayte created in collaboration with her compatriots – well-known Lithuanian set designer Adomas Yatsovskis and Giedrius Puskuniges, a young composer. The dress designer is Nellie Ivanchyk.
