Every fifth respondent is certain about their success while 40 percent are more cautious but still looking on the bright side, says the poll conducted by the for Russia’s Vedomosti daily. 

Women have oftener called themselves successful than men (62 vs 59), younger people oftener than the elderly (62 vs 59).

According to the research among 1,600 people of age polled in different Russian regions, respondents have varied definitions of success. The most popular one relates success to wealth (20 percent). Love and a happy family means success only for 6 percent of those who took part in the survey.
