More than 6.5 million people took part in the activities organized in Moscow on the New Year's holidays.

One of the main events was the Christmas market in the pedestrian zones of the city center which was visited by about 1.2 million people. As for amusement parks, they were visited by about 2 million residents and guests of Moscow during the holidays.

In addition, 450,000 residents of Moscow were able to visit the museums for free during the holidays. Strasbourg fair in the capital was visited by about 600,000 people, and on the New Year night about three thousand public catering facilities were open in the city.
