U.S. Morgan Stanley has signed former Central Bank deputy chairman as a consultant, according to the Russian Vedomosti daily.
Oleg Vyugin, who earlier also held high-ranking positions within the Finance Ministry, has confirmed his new job, saying he will not be obliged to be present in the bank’s office and can quit his job any time.
According to Vyugin quoted by Reuters, the financier will consult Morgan Stanley on specifics of doing business in Russia and customers.
Vyugin said he would retain his current position as the chairman of the board of directors of MDM bank.
