Long Happy Life by the Russian film director Boris Khlebnikov will participate in the main competition of the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival to be held from February 7 to February 17.
The movie tells about a former businessman named Sascha, who became a farmer and got engaged in processing of waste lands of a state farm. The leads in the film are played by Alexander Yatsenko, Evgeny Syty and Anna Kotova. The cameraman of the movie is Pavel Kostomarov, the winner of the Berlinale 2010 prize for the movie How I Spent This Summer.
Among Khlebnikov's known works there is the movie Koktebel that gained him a special prize of the Moscow International Film Festival jury and Free Swimming that won the Best Direction prize at the Kinotavr Film Festival. His recent work is Until Night Will Not Separate released at the end of last year.
