Russia needs to work hard to improve its governance standards and root out corruption, investors send a strong message to the government.

At Sberbank’s business breakfast held as part of the Davos Forum, Russian businessmen and foreign investors operating in Russia voiced their discontent with the high level of corruption and poor standards of state governance.

They took part in the vote on the most needed step to boost the Russian economy.

The result echoed a similar vote on Wednesday, when 77.9 percent of the audience indicated they see Russia’s main problem in state governance and corruption.
