Mechanic Alexander Vitalyevich Korobeynikov has arranged a museum of antiques right at his workplace.
A small, narrow, and cool room is housing both antiques and mechanics’ subjects of labor. Scissors, keys, and axes are hanging on the walls… On the table, window sills and cases there stand candlesticks, coasters, irons, sleeves, weights, anti-tank guns of the period of World War II. Altogether the museum presents about 150 ancient finds.
The museum director finds exhibits among scrap heaps, and sometimes workers bring ancient subjects themselves. Alexander Korobeynikov restores all the finds.
His authorities know about the worker’s hobby and treat it with understanding. Search of antiques and the museum do not disturb the working process.
However, the mechanic only shrugs shoulders when asked about the possibility of expanding the museum. The administration will not permit it and the factory is not accessible to general public.
