The book In Search of Antiques of Forlorn Site: on Finds and Legends of Zadonsk Outskirts by the famous Luipetsk archeologist Alexander Bessudnov has been published.

      The richly illustrated book will be interesting not only to historians but also to those who want to know the antiques of Lipetsk Region.

      “Tyunino monuments are known to all historians researching the Bronze Age. This is a fact in spite of utter scarcity of the finds. There are only 17 items that were found as far back as 1910. Presently they are kept in the State Hermitage Museum” – Alexander Bessudnov says.

      The book presents major results of the historical research of the Skit site. It is a unique book that for the first time publishes unique archive resources, data on the landscape and ecological condition of the place, and the monograph design includes rare photos, maps and drawings.

      1000 published copies of the book will be distributed among libraries and presented to teachers, historians and students of local history.
