Patriarchate Museum to be Opened in Arzamas

Authorities of Nizhni Novgorod Region have allocated 8 million rubles for restoration of an ancient building, where Russian Patriarchate Museum will be opened this summer.

      The museum exposition will be collected thanks to joint efforts of the History of Nizhni Novgorod Patriarchate Museum and Nizhni Novgorod State Historical and Architectural Museum Reserve. Every exposition in the museum will be dedicated to one of the patriarchs of Russian Orthodox church, among them the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexis II.
