Yandex Became an Associate Member Of One Of the CERN Projects

Russian largest Internet company "Yandex" concluded an agreement with the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN), and became an associate member of CERN openlab - a cooperation project between the Centre and the IT-companies, the general director of "Yandex" Arkady Volozh announced.


      

In the framework of collaboration CERN scientists can use computing resources and data processing technologies of "Yandex", including the technology of machine learning "Matrixnet". The Russian company will have more opportunities to participate in the researches of the Centre and get access to the experimental data that will help it to improve its technologies.
