Google Celebrates 90th Anniversary of Leonid Gaiday with Festive Logo

The Google Internet company celebrated the 90th anniversary since the birth of the Soviet film director Leonid Gaiday with a festive logo.

Letters of the traditional Google logo on the main page of the website have been replaced with the director’s drawn portrait. Next to him there are images of Coward, Goof and Skilled - the popular characters his comedies performed by Georgy Vitsin, Yury Nikulin and Evgeny Morgunov.

The Google company traditionally posts on the main page of the web engine festive logos for various memorials, holidays, and birthdays of known people.

Leonid Gaiday was born on January 30, 1923 in the Amur Province. The comedies created by him (The Caucasian Captive, or Shurik's New Adventures, Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession, Operation "Y" and Shurik's Other Adventures, Diamond Hand, etc.) became very popular movies and sources of winged words and quotations.
