St. Petersburg prosecutor's office was not able to make an examination of the complaints of the deputy of the City Legislative Assembly Vitaliy Milonov who made up a petition against the singer Lady Gaga whose performance seemed to him to popularize homosexuality among children, to unlawfully use the flag of Russia and to defame the country.

The staff of the prosecutor`s office that said the expert from Federal Supervision Agency for Information Technologies and Communications deemed the expert examination impossible for it had to be made on the basis of the video from the St. Petersburg concert posted on the YouTube. This can be explained by the fact that the examination should be based on the material recorded on the electronic media, which was not the case.

In late November a district court of St. Petersburg dismissed nine lawsuits of the community activists to another American singer Madonna, who also gave concerts in Russia last year, and, according to these activists, supported homosexuals. The total sum of the lawsuits to Madonna amounted to 333 million rubles.
