Evgeny Chubarov Exhibition Opens in Moscow

The Open Club Gallery has opened an exhibition of Evgeny Chubarov's art works.

“Thread Fabric of Existence…” – the lines from Pasternak's poems have given the title to the exhibition of Evgeny Chubarov, who is a sculptor, a painter, and a graphic artist. Without having any art education, in the 1960s he rushed into the painting world, studied from his artistic colleagues and did not simply succeed, but told his own word in art.

In December last year Evgeny Chubarov passes away. He spent the last years of his life like a hermit. Very few people saw his new works. This exhibition is a reminiscence of the artist who called his works "abstraction in pure form" and a way "to fall in the inner self".

The Open Club Gallery is located at the address 9/2 Spiridonovka Street, Moscow.
