Museum of Moscow Metro may appear at the station Khodynskoye Pole, which is under construction now, the press service of Moscow construction department reported.

      The Khodynskoye Poel (Khodynsky Field) metro station is constructed in an open way. Above the overlapping of the station complex there is unclaimed space two or three floors large; according to sanitary norms it cannot be adapted to any establishments for long stay of people without carrying out expensive actions for decrease of noise and vibrations. The original project provided that the space over the arch of the station complex would be filled up with a layer of ground with a subsequent prospect to take it out if there is a need of long construction.

      “Members of the scientific and technical council considered such an approach to be non-economic, since it needs to tackle the same building site twice, and suggested to construct rooms for the Museum of Moscow Metro on the already prepared building site”, - the press service explained.
