The board of directors of the Sheremetyevo Airport has urged its management to take steps to enforce the regulatory directive concerning the strategic partnership deal between the hub and Aeroflot.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service has ruled that the agreement can be discriminatory against other air carriers and have an adverse effect on the competition.

Late in January, the regulator opened a case into what it says is an administrative violation, demanding that the partners change or cancel the agreement. In case of non-compliance, they will face a fine of 0.3-15 percent of their 2011 full-year earnings.
