Krasnoyarsk’s airport, Emelyanovo, is expecting a serious push in development as the companies close to Viktor Vekselberg, Vladimir Potanin and Norilsk Nickel are said to be nearing deal on a joint venture.

According to Vedomosti daily, the Kransoyarsk Region will sign an agreement with the Airports of the Regions, controlled by Renova, Interport, run by Interros, and the Taimyr airline owned by Norilsk Nickel.

The deal is said to be closed on February 14 at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, says RBC daily. Vekselberg’s Renova will play a leading role in the consortium bringing a total of 2 billion roubles in investment, it adds.
