More Than 37 Million Rubles Allocated For Tourism Development In Yakutia in 2012

Within the frame of the implementation of the state program for domestic tourism development in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) 37.6 million rubles were allocated last year.


      

The results of the activity in the field of tourism in 2012 were summed up at the meeting of the expanded collegium of the Ministry of Business and Tourism Development of the Republic of Sakha. For the implementation of the state program "Domestic Tourism Development in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for 2012 - 2016" 16.6 million rubles were allocated from the state budget, 3.5 million from the municipal budget and 17.5 million rubles from extra-budgetary sources. This money was directed for the support of 12 centres in eight municipalities. Thanks to the measures that have been taken the current tourist market of the Republic offers over 66 routes on the territory of 23 municipalities, including 35 routes for foreign tourists, and 31 routes for domestic tourists.
