The Atlas Of The Places Of Interest Of The Republic Of Khakassia
Khakassia

The Ministry of Sports Tourism of the Republic of Khakassia published "The Atlas Of The Places Of Interest" of the region. The illustrated edition is devoted to the cultural and natural heritage of Khakassia. The booklet contains information on the 49 most interesting places, including Ivanovo lakes, Sunduki, Tuimsky pass, Saragashensky Bay, Taar-pig, the pisanitsa "Hazyn-hyr" and other places.

The book covers eight districts of the region of Khakassia, starting from the northern Ordzhonikidze district and to the southern Tashtypskiy district. This order is explained by the historical aspect - the direction "from the North to the South" was the direction of migration of the indigenous population of the Republic.

The Atlas presents 3 maps and about 1,000 photographs. This publication is intended mainly for local residents and tourists. Moreover, the Atlas will be used as a presentation of the attractions and the places of interest of the Republic at the tourism exhibitions.
