The program of the development of Siberia and the Far East was presented within the framework of the 21st session of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF). Aside from the presentation of large-scale investment projects in various sectors of economy, several regions have prepared the projects of the development of tourism and showed them at the exhibition.

Among the investment programs of the Khabarovsk region are the projects of the ski resort "Holdomi" construction and the cruise river service ship construction. The investment projects of Magadan were presented by the project of construction of the international centre of year-round active recreation and the project of tourism on the shores of lakes of Dancing Graylings and of Jack London on the basis of summer sports camps. The centre will be focused on active recreation. These activities include: water touring, trekking, mountain, as well as environmental, fishing and scientific tourism. Gold mining tourism is to be developed in the long run.
