Two Exhibitions of Jonathan Meese Opened in Moscow

Jonathan Meese, one of the most radical representatives of the European art scene, will be displayed in the Russian capital.

The artist Jonathan Meese living in Berlin has a reputation as an art extremist propagandizing the cult of art and prophesying its dictatorship upcoming on the Earth in the near future. Meuse feels comfortable both in painting and sculpture, as well as in performance; he is regularly exhibited in Denmark, France, Canada, the USA and Japan and quite often comes to Russia.

On the occasion of the Year of Germany at once two Moscow galleries will display extravagant and sometimes aggressive installations, amidst which visitors will have a chance to see the guru of modern art himself.

The exhibition under the title Erz General Red Parsifal runs in the Red October Gallery (2/1, Bersenevsky Lane) till April 10, whereas the second exhibition Tropical Alaska Kid Der Molokobefehl runs in Rigina Gallery (1/6, 4th Syromyatnichesky Lane) till March 31.
