Russia Writes Off Part of Cuba's $30BN Debt

Russia has agreed to write off part of Cuba’s debt, said Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade. 

According to him, the final deal will be signed by the year’s end, with some part of the debt to be written off and the other restructured over the next ten years. 

He didn’t specify the size of the writeoff, though, reports the Interfax news agency.
