New Free Viewing Platforms Will Open In Moscow

The new viewing platforms will presumably appear at the Tretyakov Gallery, on the roof of the "Moscow" and "Balchug" hotels, on the Arc de Triomphe, in the Old Shopping Arcade and on the Theater Square on the Kitaygorodskaya wall.

About five panoramic binoculars will be installed in the main viewing area of Moscow on the Vorobyovy Hills. The viewing platforms along the Moscow River will also be organized as a part of the updated concept "The Golden Ring of Moscow". Among the first installed viewing platforms in the centre of the city will be the one on the roof of the National Book Depository instead of the dismantled giant billboard of Samsung.

The experts claim that the roof of the Lenin Library will provide a magnificent view of the city centre (the Kremlin and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour). It should be noted that only one viewing platform on the Vorobyovy Hills is now open in Moscow. The roof of the main building of the Moscow State University is closed to the public, whereas other viewing platforms remain paid-for.
