Recently the working group of the Commission at Moscow Government held a meeting in Moscow.

The experts considered issues of town-planning activities in those places, which harbor protected cultural heritage sites and sightseeing attractions. They recommended to include the Church of Kazan Icon of the Mother of God into the uniform state registry, which unites cultural heritage sites (monuments of both culture and history).

The Church is located at the address Bld. 6, 20/8, Rozhdestvenka Street, in the very center of Moscow.

According to experts, in spite of the fact that the church was constructed rather late, it is an original object.

It is known that the church was built by architect P.A. Vinogradov during the period from 1904 to 1906.
