The American ballet troupe Aspen Santa Fe Ballet will perform on the stage of the Russian Academic Youth Theater in Moscow on March 5 and 6.
As organizers of the tours reported, the Americans will show three one-act ballets of modern choreographers, such as Alejandro Cerrudo set to music by Heinrich Guretsky, Jirí Kylian to music by Carlos Chavez, and Jorma Elo to music by Felix Mendelssohn and Ludwig van Beethoven.
The ballet troupe Aspen Santa Fe Ballet (ASFB) was founded in 1996. In 2000 the troupe extended and settled down in Aspen (Colorado) and Santa Fe (New Mexico).
ASFB toured around the USA, Brazil, Canada, France, Greece, Israel, Italy and other countries. However, it is going to perform in Russia for the first time.
