The first Winter Fairy-Tale Games will take place on the shore of Lake Baikal in a year in February. 

The festival will gather various fairytale heroes from different countries. The games are planned to be part of the project called “Fairy-Tale Map of Russia”. According to Alexey Kozlovsky, the project coordinator, the extraordinary fairytale competition is one of a kind. It is meant to give the “taste of a fairy-tale” to the closing of Winter Olympics. Lake Baikal is one of the places to host the competitions and the symbol of Fairy-Tale Games.
