Finland Is To Permit Visa-Free Travel For Russian Tourists
Finland

Some of the towns in south-eastern part of Finland are going to introduce a 48-hour visa-free stay for Russian citizens arriving by train.

The idea was proposed by city administration of Lapeenranta, situated close to the border of Russian and Finland. It is meant to attract to the town more Russians living close to the border with Finland who often visit the country for shopping.
