Eight Russian companies listed in 500 world’s most valued global brands

Eight Russian companies were listed in 500 world’s most valued global brands, published by the consulting company Brand Finance.

      
The American brand Apple, valued in $ 87.3 billion, was placed the first in the 2013 annual ranking.

      
Sberbank is the only Russian brand, which got into the top hundred global brands. It takes 63d place with the value of $14.1 billion, following Deutsche Bank (14.572 billion) and preceding by Bank of China ($14.145 billion).

      
The Russian gas giant Gazprom holds 122 place ($8.3 billion), oil companies Lukoil ($5.1 billion) and Rosneft ($4.4 billion) are on 218 and 256 positions.

      
The Krasnodar food retailer Magnit was ranked 346, valued ($3.4 billion).

      
The ‘Big three’ Russian telecommunication companies have also got to the  world’s most valued global brands list: 232 place –Beeline ($4.8 billion), 361 place MTS ($3.3 billion) and 433 place MegaFon ($2.8 billion).
