A new Dermatology Museum will soon be opened in a branch of the Moscow Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology Research and Implementation Center.
The building of the branch is located at the address 17, Leninsky Avenue.
One of the halls of this two-storeyed mansion will be entirely occupied with a permanent exposition, which will tell visitors about the history of dermatology development in Moscow.
Doctors and medical students will be interested to see a gallery of portraits of all major fighters with skin diseases in Moscow since the mid 19th century, to look through ancient books and magazines on dermatology, and to see an exhibition of archival photos and documents. General public will be impressed with wax models representing manifestations of various skin diseases.
As soon as the repair in the building is complete, Muscovites and tourists will be able to see a unique exposition with their own eyes.
