Russian Railways will open duty free shop in trains of international directions. The first duty free shop will be launched in Moscow-Kiev train in the end of May 2013.
The pilot project in the train Moscow-Kiev will work for a year. If it turns to be success, the service will be opened in other directions, for example Russia-Finland.
Lat year Russian Railways claimed about opening duty free shops at railway stations. The first such shop is expected to be opened in the start of 2012 at Vyborgskiy railway station and in a month at Finland station. The company also regards the opportunity of organizing duty free shops at all Russian railway stations of international directions.
