Exhibition Unspell Nutcracker dedicated to creativity of the romantic writer Ernst Theodor Wilhelm Hoffmann opens on March 15 in the Kaliningrad Regional Historical and Art Museum.
It consists of paintings, drawings, works of arts and crafts, photos, and book illustrations by artists from different countries.
The organizers have tried to create in the museum the aura of mystery inherent in works by Hoffmann, who was born in Konigsberg (nowadays Kaliningrad) and graduated from the Konigsberg University.
Along with fifty art works inspired by his creativity, the exhibition will also provide meetings with unusual dolls - fellow countrymen of the Nutcracker and their founders, musical plays from Tchaikovsky’s ballet Nutcracker, and a book presentation.
The exhibition runs in the museum till the end of April.
