Dimitrie Cantemir Monument to be Set Up in Moscow

Monument to the scientist and politician of Moldova and Russia Dimitrie Cantemir (1673-1723) will be set up in the Tsaritsyno memorial estate in Moscow.

      The monument is planned to be set up in the northeastern part of the museum at the entrance from Novotsaritsynskoye Highway at check-point N11 (the right northern side of Dolskaya Street). The performer of the state contract should develop a project for installing a bronze sculpture 3.65 m high on a granite pedestal 1.1 m high. The total height of the construction will make 4.95 m. The monument base has to be made of large-sized granite plates with the area of 6.25 sq.m.
