The Russian security services can listen through to conversations and monitor instant messages of the users of the Skype online service. After buying Skype in May 2011 the Microsoft Company provided the service with the technology of the legal listening through. Now any subscriber can be switched to a special mode in which the encryption keys previously generated on the phone or the computer of the subscriber will be generated on the server. With the access to the server you can listen to the conversation or read the correspondence. Moreover, the Russian services can do it "on demand" without a court order. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Security Service refused to comment on the information. The staff of the office of Microsoft in Russia also did not want to talk about the possibility of listening through to the Skype.
