Gazprom Begins Exodus from Moscow

Employees of several of Gazprom's departments are packing up ahead of their planned move to St. Petersburg.

      Sergey Kupriyanov, the gas giant's spokesperson, confirmed the news.

      It's going to be a gradual relocation, Russian Vedomosti daily quotes an anonymous source within the municipal government of the northern capital.

      Earlier, Gazprom's oil division, Gazpromneft, move its headquarters to St. Petersburg.
