Society Television Will Cover More Than 60% of Russian Viewers

Without crime, glamour and star scandals. The ideologues and creators of Society Television - Anatoly Lysenko and Oleg Tabakov – told which programs will constitute Society Television in Russia. Its launch is scheduled for May 19. The essence of the channel will be cognitive – it will show the life of the regions, and it will also be optimistic. And the news will be narrated without officialdom. From the first day of its broadcasting the channel will cover more than 60% of the country's viewers through cable networks. At the same time the channel number is not known yet. Financial problems remain - the money is only enough for the first few months of life of the public TV. Recruitment process is not easy as well. The task of the channel is not political, but educational. The programs on science and culture will prevail there. It is planned to show a lot of documentaries. And, of course, the main priority of the modern television will be lots of live broadcasts.
