The Ferry named "Georg Ots" submitted to the Government of the Primorsk Territory for the complex preparations for the APEC-2012 summit is currently undergoing complex renovation and modernization in the Chinese harbor in order to work on the number of international voyages later.

The "Georg Ots" ferry built in Poland in the 80s of the last century arrived in Vladivostok from St. Petersburg by the Northern Sea Route in October of 2010. During the last year this vessel was used as a floating hotel for accommodating the participants of the APEC summit. For this purpose the ferry was modernized. For example, all rooms of the vessel provided the guests of the hotel the access to the Internet, for example, to order the creation of the Ekaterinburg website, to shop at the online store or just communicate with friends on social networks.
