The museum of the Universiade will open in the building of the Kazan international information centre this summer. The first exposition of the exhibition will tell about the preparations for the Universiade, the history of the Summer Universiades and the Russian winners of the games. A special stand will be dedicated to the first World University Games held in Paris in 1923. Now the organizers of the exhibition are collecting the exhibits some of which have already been brought to Kazan - books, medals, mascots of the past games.

The opening of the museum will take place on June 29, 2013; its first guests will be the sportspeople, and in the fall it will let all visitors in.
