This year the cost of visiting famous sites of the Republic of Karelia will substantially grow. Thus, according to the experts, a two nights stay in the Republic of Karelia and visiting the major attractions, including trips and accommodation, will cost a tourist about eight thousand rubles in the summer season of 2013. In particular, the visit to Kivach waterfall and mountain park "Ruskeala" became more expensive. This summer one will have to pay 50% more (120 rubles instead of 80 rubles) for the chance to see one of the highest waterfalls in Europe. Visiting the former marble quarry and seeing the unique light show will cost 250 rubles instead of 200.
In addition, the companies carrying out the transportation of tourists in Kizhi, have already announced ticket prices for their services. The round trip to the island on the "Comet" will cost 2.75 thousand rubles for one person.
