New Novel by Pelevin to Appear on Sale Tonight

Victor Pelevin's new novel Batman Apollo will hit the stores at midnight on Wednesday in Moscow.

It will be available in the “Moscow” bookstores in Tverskaya and Vozdvizhenka Streets. The first buyers of Batman Apollo will be granted with exclusive souvenirs.

This is not the first case when Pelevin's book appears on counters at night: in 2008 his collection P5 came into the world exactly at midnight on October 5, thus provoking lines in the few shops opened so late at night.

Pelevin is considered the major mystifier of modern literature. Since the very beginning of his creative career the writer practically never communicates with mass media and does not meet his fans, whereas the release of every new book by him is always shrouded in a mysterious veil.
