Alexander Provotorov, now former CEO of Rostelecom, will spend most of his bonuses on charity.

In an interview with Izvestia, Provotorov confirmed his resignation and pledged to donate the bulk of his 200 million rouble golden parachute to charity.

Rostelecom, Russia's biggest landline operator, also paid 29 million roubles in annual bonuses to him.

Provotorov will be replaced with Sergey Kalugin, former head and shareholder of the National Cable Networks.
