Legendary Costumes of Actors Exhibited in Maly Theater

Moscow Shchepkin Foyer of the Maly Theater has opened an exhibition of historical theatre costumes.

Visitors of the exhibition will see 20 men’s and women’s costumes from stage productions of the 19th and the 20th centuries of the Moscow’s oldest drama theater. One of the oldest costumes is that one in which Maria Yermolova played more than 120 years ago. As for recent costumes, one can see there Yury Solomin’s suit of 1976. The actor took the stage wearing this suite for 30 years, in the play Tsar Feodor Ioanovich.

All the theatre-lover who will come to see plays in the Maly Theater in the beginning of April will have a chance to see the exhibition.
