Gazprom-Media Holding has increased its net income by 36 percent to 7.7 billion roubles, or roughly $250 million.
According to an official statement, its full-year IFRS revenues rose 11 percent over the 2011 figures to total 52.3 billion roubles, or almost $1.7 billion.
Advertising-generated revenues jumped 14 percent, and the capitalization of one of the largest media holdings in Russia and Europe reached 200 billion roubles in 2012.
Founded in 1998, Gazprom-Media Holding controls a large portfolio of television, radio, printing press, cinema production, advertising, movie theaters and internet assets.
