Aeroflot’s Net Income Halved in 2012

Aeroflot’s net income dived 52.9 percent over the 2011 figures to 4.93 billion roubles.

      According to an official RAS statement, its full-year revenues totaled 177.9 billion roubles, which is 31 percent higher than in 2011.

      In 2012, the company carried a record 17,656 thousand passengers, which is 24.6% more than in 2011. Passenger turnover amounted to 50.53 billion pkm (+20.3% compared to 2011).

      Also, Fitch Ratings has assigned JSC Aeroflot's ('BB-'/Stable) proposed RUB5bn notes an expected local currency senior unsecured rating of 'BB-(EXP)' and an expected National senior unsecured rating of 'A+(rus)(EXP)'.
