Acron Reports Higher Revenue, Sales Profit

Acron, one of the leading global mineral fertilizer producers in the world, has posted a positive 2012 RAS financial report.

      According to it, the company publicly traded on the Moscow Stock Exchange and LSE saw an 8 percent increase in revenue, from 33.25 billion to 36.06 billion roubles.

      Sales profit totaled 14.11 billion roubles, up 2 percent on the 2011 figures while net profit dropped 39 percent year-on-year to 8.55 billion roubles.

      The group includes three major fertilizer plants – Akron (Russia, Veliky Novgorod), Dorogobuzh (Russia, Smolensk Region), and Khunzhi-Akron Ltd (Shandong province of China).
