Rostelecom has been heavily criticized by the Russian Communications Minister amid lackluster financials results.
Russia’s largest national telecommunications operator saw it net profit decline 17 percent in 2012 to 35.24 billion roubles.
The released report was slammed by Nikolay Nikiforov, head of Mass Media and Communications Ministry.
On his Twitter account, he pointed out the negatives, especially the net debt growth from 161.5 to 203 billion roubles.
Rostelecom is going through a shake-up, with its CEO Provotorov now replaced by Sergey Kalugin.
