Russian senior officials have been implicated in the Cyprus scandal, says Vedomosti daily.
The international media have been releasing data on the owners of offshore companies related to Russia.
Among them is the wife of Igor Shuvalov, Russia’s deputy prime minister, Valery Golubev, deputy chairman of the board of directors of Gazprom, and Andrey Reus, former CEO of Oboronprom, a major defense contractor.
Also, the discussion about Russian billionaires who withdrew their money from Cypriot banks just ahead of the crisis has been ongoing on thousands of websites, in particular on http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-03-25/have-russians-already-quietly-withdrawn-all-their-cash-cyprus.
If you have any information on that that you could share with Russia-IC, we’d welcome it.
