Tweed Run Takes Place In Moscow And St. Petersburg On May 19

For the second year the famous Tweed Run, initiated in London in 2009, will take place in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The event takes place on May 19, 2013.

On this day Russian lads and lasses will take to the streets on their bikes, wearing vintage clothes with tweed details. As part of the event a contest will be held for the best moustache and beard.

The first Tweed Bike Ride took place in London in 2009 when young people in 1920s-1930s style clothes rode through the streets of the British capital. The idea quickly spread throughout Europe and reached Russia and Japan.
