Gazprom has offered a peace deal to Lithuania to end a long-standing battle over natural gas supplies.

      According to the terms of the memorandum, the Baltic state will get a 20 percent discount for supplies and a higher pay for transit.

      In exchange, Lithuania will suspend any legal proceedings against Gazprom and sign a new long-term contract with Russia's gas giant.
