The fate of 641 million roubles owned by AvtoVAZ is up in the air as Cyprus is about to launch the haircut as part of the bailout deal with the EU.

The funds under threat account fot 8 percent of the AvtoVAZ coffers. Last year, the Russian biggest carmaker quadrupled its IFRS net profit figures.

Earlier, Russia-IC reported on the problems that Russian private and corporate depositors are facing over the impending banking sector collapse in Cyprus.
